I must admit, I am not a fan of juice. For the sake of thirst, I'd rather have water. For the sake of nutrition, I'd rather eat a fruit or vegetable. Still, I recognize the importance and desirability of juice for many, including children. When faced with a multitude of soda options at school, on the playground, and sometimes even at home, fruit juice is a wonderful alternative. However, drink labels have gotten very good at disguising colorful sugar water as juice, leading many kids and parents to believe they're being healthy when in fact they'd be better off drinking soda.
