• Valine: The Basics

    Valine is one of the 9 essential amino acids needed for normal growth. Valine, along with leucine and isoleucine, is one of three branched chain amino acids (BCAA). We ingest valine through foods high in protein such as meats, dairy products, soy products, and legumes.

    When taken properly, intake of valine can:

    It is best taken as a BCAA with a ratio of 2:1:1. The following is a suggested daily regime.
